Check out the Quilts collected for Halos! The HALOS Mission is to provide resources and special opportunities to abused and neglected children and their caregivers. HALOS helps abused and neglected children stay with relatives rather than go into foster care by providing relatives the necessary items needed to have the children stay in their home. It may be beds, cribs, etc. HALOS plans to bundle quilts to provide with the beds and cribs that they distribute. They currently have 400 children in 176 open cases in the Tri-County area. All resources provided to the children stay with the children. Each year HALOS provides approximately 400+ twin beds and 200+ cribs. Additional information is available on their website: www.charlestonhalos.org or by contacting email@example.com If you have a quilt for HALOS, please bring it to the guild meeting or let Louise Schmidt know and she will arrange to get them. You may contact Louise Schmidt directly or through the contact page. Click here for More info
