Cobblestone Quilters Guild

The purpose of The Guild shall be to foster the art of quilting, to encourage a high standard of design and technique in all of its various forms, and to stimulate an interest in these goals within the community.

Cobblestone Quilters Guild is located in beautiful, historic, Charleston, South Carolina. Our membership base covers the tri-county area of Charleston, Berkeley, and Dorchester counties.

We meet the second Thursday of each month, 7:00 p.m. at:

Yeamans’s Park Presbyterian Church located at 5931 Murray Drive, Hanahan, SC.

Meetings consist of a brief business session, a program, Show and Tell, and other fun activities. The guild hosts a bi-annual Quilt Show.

Beach Retreat 2016 Registration

A great time was had by all at retreat 2015. Check out the creativity of our quilters!

34 spots have been reserved for Jan 22-25, 2016 so MARK YOUR CALENDAR and find a roomie. As last year, you will need to register WITH A ROOMIE. Click here for the 2016 Beach Retreat registration form and details. Registration Applications must be mailed on, or AFTER Saturday, March 7th. Spots will be filled on a first come basis. If you would like to come, but don't have a roommate, please contact June or Lisa directly, or though the contact page.


QSC Spring Meeting ~ The Charleston Tea Party
Hosted by Cobblestone Quilters

The Quilters of South Carolina will be hosting the Spring meeting in Charleston this year.  The dates for this exciting event which includes vendors, classes, luncheon and national speaker/teacher, Kimberly Einmo will be March 20-March 22, 2015. 
The Quilters of South Carolina will be having their statewide Spring Meeting in Charleston on March 21, 2015.  There are a few openings for the Tea Plantation Tour, one opening for the Friday class (Lone Starburst) and several openings for Modern T's all taught by Kimberely Einmo.  To become a QSC member or to register for the meeting/classes, please email the registrar Diane Sala at golfeline@yahoo.com. The registration closes on March 5, 2015 so hurry and get your on-line registration today!

Quilts of Valor RetreatQuilts of Valor - Quilt Retreat - May 15-17

A great weekend of sewing and fun to provide Veterans with comforting and healing Quilts of Valor. White oak Conference Center Winnsboro, South Carolina. Bring your own project, take a class, or work on one of the many kits available. Barbara Sanders will be teaching a 5 point Mariners Compass and Donna Royson will be teaching Quilt as You Go. Community OutreachHalos

We are continuing with Halos in 2015. Last year we donated over 60 quilts to HALOS, but we can do BETTER for this worthy organization! Any size quilt is acceptable from crib to queen, but the greatest need in for single bed size. Thank you to all who have helped on this project.   • After the February meeting, those not current with their dues will no longer receive the newsletter until they become current.
  • Newsletter: There are no paper copies of the newsletter mailed via the postal service. Newsletters will be sent via the Email service, "Mail Chimp". If you don't receive your newsletter, PLEASE check you spam box.
